
Lucknow experienced its coldest morning of the season with temperatures dropping to 5.6 degrees Celsius, while other districts in Uttar Pradesh also saw significant dips. Muzaffarnagar recorded the state's lowest at 2.1 C, the coldest in two years. Meteorologists attribute the cold wave to a shift in wind direction following a western disturbance, with frost and cold conditions expected to persist in western and northern regions of UP for the next two days.
