
Cold wave conditions are anticipated in parts of Haryana, Chandigarh, and Punjab from January 3 to 6, following a period of above-normal night temperatures. Minimum temperatures in Punjab have been significantly higher than usual, while day temperatures are below normal. Light rain and dense fog have also been reported. The India Meteorological Department forecasts a drop in minimum temperatures by 2-4°C over the next three days, with dense fog expected to persist.
