
A passenger boat carrying 52 people capsized on Saturday night in Yobe State, northeastern Nigeria, resulting in at least 25 deaths and 14 people still missing. The vessel, en route to Garbi town, was carrying residents returning from a market, fishing, or farming. Thirteen passengers were rescued alive and are receiving medical assistance.
