Prayagraj railway stations have eased strict crowd control measures, including single-direction entry and vehicle access restrictions, following a lower-than-expected turnout of devotees. The Divisional Railway Manager stated that normal operations, including escalator and lift usage, have resumed to improve passenger convenience. These measures were initially implemented in anticipation of a large rush for Paush Purnima but were withdrawn after reviewing the situation, which had caused inconvenience to regular commuters.
