A 51-year-old pilgrim from Telangana, Cheerela Ashok Kumar, died and three others were injured in a head-on collision between their car and a container lorry on MC Road in Muvattupuzha. The accident occurred Wednesday morning as the pilgrims were returning from Sabarimala. Police suspect the car driver may have dozed off. The injured are in stable condition and receiving medical attention.
