The water level in Mullaperiyar dam reached 130.55 feet on Saturday, with an inflow of 72 cusecs and a discharge of 1,000 cusecs. The maximum permissible level for the dam is 142 feet. Meanwhile, Vaigai dam's water level was 50.72 feet, with 703 cusecs flowing in and 1,869 cusecs being discharged. The combined storage in Periyar credit was 6,584.51 million cubic feet.
