
Punjab and Haryana are experiencing an intense cold wave, with Chandigarh recording its coldest night in nine years at 2.8 degrees Celsius. Several locations in Punjab, including Ballowal Saunkhri, recorded temperatures at or near freezing. Haryana also saw severe cold, with Hisar and Narnaul registering lows of 1.5 and 1.8 degrees Celsius respectively. This severe cold snap has affected multiple cities across both states.
