The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a 'yellow' alert for dense fog in 15 districts of Jharkhand for the next two days, with visibility expected to be between 50 and 200 meters. Gumla recorded the coldest temperature at 6.6 degrees Celsius. Minimum temperatures are expected to fall by up to three degrees Celsius from January 4 to 6 due to a western disturbance.
