
North India is experiencing severe cold, with temperatures dropping below freezing in parts of Rajasthan and Delhi recording its first cold wave of the season. Several northern states, including Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Uttarakhand, have recorded sub-zero temperatures. The India Meteorological Department predicts the extreme cold and severe cold wave conditions to persist for several more days, with fog also impacting visibility in some regions.
