The restriction is due to ongoing underground cabling maintenance and upgradation work by Tata Power-Delhi Distribution Limited, which has occupied two lanes, causing congestion and slow traffic. Alternative routes have been provided for those heading towards Paharganj, New Delhi, or Liberty Cinema. Motorists are advised to plan journeys in advance and follow traffic personnel directions.
