
Dense fog and severe cold conditions in North Bihar caused a major pile-up on the Muzaffarpur-Darbhanga National Highway. The accident involved approximately six vehicles, including three ambulances, near Kewatsa Chowk. An Assam-registered ambulance, carrying a patient on life support, was severely damaged, resulting in critical injuries to three individuals, including the driver. Local villagers rescued the trapped individuals, who were then transported to a hospital and subsequently referred to SKMCH, Muzaffarpur, for advanced care. The incident caused a significant traffic jam.
