An SDRF constable in Lucknow received a show-cause notice for allegedly plucking a guava from a high-security compound during his duty in January 2025. The constable, Adarsh Agnihotri, explained in a year-old response that he ate the guava to alleviate stomach pain after consuming substandard paneer, citing a YouTube home remedy. The notice and his explanation recently leaked, causing amusement and disbelief. An assistant commandant confirmed the incident was minor and no action was taken, calling the renewed attention unnecessary.
