India's Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts intensifying cold wave and dense fog across North India through January 7. Conditions are expected to persist during night and morning hours, with clear skies during the day. Yellow alerts have been issued for Delhi and seven districts in Himachal Pradesh due to dense fog. Light snowfall is predicted for isolated areas in Himachal Pradesh on January 6. Cold day conditions are also anticipated in parts of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Bihar.
