The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a 'yellow' alert for cold wave conditions in several districts of Jharkhand from January 13 to 16. Minimum temperatures have dropped below 10 degrees Celsius in eight districts, with Gumla recording the lowest at 2.8 degrees Celsius.
