Kolkata Metro services on the Dakshineswar-Shahid Khudiram corridor experienced a disruption for nearly an hour during peak morning hours on Tuesday. A power supply fault in a moving train between Netaji Bhavan and Rabindra Sadan stations caused it to halt, leading to service interruptions. Passengers were safely evacuated and escorted to Netaji Bhavan station. Technical teams worked to resolve the issue, and services gradually resumed, though platforms experienced crowding due to delays.
