
An AIIMS-trained neurologist, Dr. Priyanka Sehrawat, shared three dietary hacks to prevent or reduce kidney stones, primarily calcium oxalate stones. She advises drinking at least 2.5 liters of water daily, limiting salt intake to under five grams, and increasing consumption of citrate-rich foods like lemons and oranges. Reducing oxalate-rich foods such as spinach and beetroot can also help prevent stone formation and growth.
