A Mumbai court has discharged BJP leader Navneet Rana in a case alleging she forged her caste certificate to contest elections. The court allowed her discharge plea, but the case against her father, Harbhajansingh Kundless, will continue. The Bombay High Court had previously cancelled Rana's certificate, but the Supreme Court restored it. Rana, a former MP from Amravati, lost the recent Lok Sabha elections.
