
Punjab will launch the second phase of its anti-drug campaign, 'Yudh Nashian Virudh,' on January 5. State minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond announced that this phase will involve rehabilitated youths inspiring others and a door-to-door awareness campaign in villages and urban areas. The initiative aims to eradicate drug abuse through enforcement, de-addiction, and prevention, with a zero-tolerance policy against smugglers and peddlers. Thousands were arrested in the first phase.
