This marks the first time the Excise Department is using online bidding for 569 vacant licenses across Karnataka, as announced in the State Budget. The auction for Kalaburagi district licenses is set for January 13, and for Yadgir district on January 14. Technical experts from MSTC Limited provided guidance on the online bidding portal.
