Kashmiri separatist leader Shabir Ahmed Shah, accused of terror-funding, informed the Supreme Court that he had met five Indian prime ministers to discuss the Kashmir issue. His lawyer argued that these meetings, documented by photographs, show Shah was seen as a negotiator, not a terrorist, and that his speeches reflected the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The court has asked the National Investigation Agency to present evidence, including speeches, related to the current terror-funding case.
