A large-scale search operation has been initiated in the Kanachak area of Jammu, near the International Border, following the detection of satellite phone communication believed to be from suspected terrorists. Security forces, including police, BSF, CRPF, and the Army, are conducting a joint operation. This area has previously been identified as an infiltration route. The operation is part of broader security measures across Jammu, including high-altitude regions, to neutralize an estimated three dozen terrorists operating in the region ahead of Republic Day.
