Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) is slated for an upgrade to a Grade 1 civic body, a move welcomed by Chamundeshwari MLA G.T. Deve Gowda. He has instructed officials to compile comprehensive data on properties and layouts within one month, in anticipation of a government notification. This upgrade involves integrating Hootagalli City Municipal Council, several Town Panchayats, and gram panchayats into the MCC, aiming to address civic issues in rapidly developing outskirts.
