Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered the cancellation of the Assistant Professor recruitment examination held in April 2025 due to allegations of serious irregularities, including a paper leak and extortion racket. The decision follows an investigation by the Special Task Force (STF), which led to the arrest of three individuals. The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has been directed to re-conduct the examination promptly and transparently to ensure fairness for all candidates.
