Speaking at the inauguration of the Haveri Institute of Medical Sciences, he emphasized the government's commitment to strengthening public healthcare infrastructure, particularly for the poor who rely on affordable government services. The initiative aims to expand healthcare facilities in phases across the state, building on previous announcements and the existing 71 medical colleges.
