A 31-year-old Naib Subedar from Amritsar, Pragat Singh, serving in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district, has died reportedly due to a heart attack attributed to a severe drop in oxygen levels. His mortal remains arrived in Amritsar and were taken to his village for final rites. Singh, who had served for nearly nine years, had recently returned to his unit. He is survived by his parents, wife, and two young sons.
