West Bengal's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) hearings have identified 11,472 "illegal" voters across the state, whose names are slated for deletion from electoral rolls. Nadia district reported the highest number of such voters with 9,228. In contrast, southern Kolkata and Bankura districts found no illegal voters despite issuing a significant number of notices. The SIR process aims to clean up voter lists through document verification and hearings.
