Kondapalli Railway Station is set for a ₹10 crore modernization under the Amrit Bharat 2.0 scheme, following approval from the Central government. Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivnath and MLA Vasantha Krishna Prasad inspected the station and discussed infrastructure improvements, including addressing drainage issues and exploring the potential of Gollapudi Bulb Line Station as an alternative for Vijayawada. The development aims to enhance passenger amenities and support the growing traffic for the Amaravati capital region.
