
Punjab's Mukh Mantri Sehat Bima Yojana will launch on January 22, offering cashless medical treatment up to ₹10 lakh annually per family. Registration begins in Mohali, with eligibility for residents holding Punjab Aadhaar and voter cards. Over 650 private facilities and all state medical colleges are empanelled. Existing Ayushman Bharat beneficiaries will receive an additional ₹5 lakh cover. The scheme has an initial budget of ₹1,200 crore, potentially rising to ₹1,500 crore.
