Chhattisgarh government has signed an MoU with IIT-Roorkee to survey and map approximately 5,000 square kilometers of the Abujhmaad region, an area previously inaccessible due to Maoist influence. This initiative aims to bring administrative facilities and development to the region as Naxal activities diminish. Chief Minister Sai expressed confidence in eliminating Naxalism by March 31, emphasizing development in liberated areas and noting increased security force presence. He also claimed the previous state government lacked support for the anti-Naxal fight.
