
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced it will contest the upcoming Chandigarh Municipal Corporation elections independently, ruling out any alliance with the Congress. AAP leader Sunny Singh Ahluwalia stated the party is no longer part of the INDIA bloc, ending any prior electoral adjustments with Congress. Ahluwalia expressed confidence in AAP emerging as the largest party and accused the BJP of unethical practices, including alleged horse-trading of councillors.
