The Punjab Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, has approved the allotment of over 19 acres of land at Lehragaga to the Janhit Society for establishing a minority medical college by the Jain community. The college will initially have a 220-bed hospital and 50 MBBS seats, expanding to 400 beds and 100 seats within eight years. Admissions and fees will follow state government guidelines. The cabinet also approved other decisions, including staff adjustments and policy extensions.
