
India's first Vande Bharat Sleeper train is set to launch soon, connecting Howrah and Guwahati. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has inspected the train, highlighting its modern interiors, enhanced safety features like the Kavach system, and improved passenger amenities. The 16-coach train offers 3AC, 2AC, and 1AC classes, with fares designed for the middle class. This new service aims to reduce travel time by approximately three hours and transform overnight rail journeys.
