Venezuela's acting President Delcy Rodriguez has declared seven days of national mourning for military personnel killed in a U.S. raid over the weekend aimed at capturing former leader Nicolas Maduro. The South American government reported approximately two dozen Venezuelan officers died, while Cuba stated 32 of its military and police officers working in Venezuela were also killed. Rodriguez rejected U.S. claims of overseeing Venezuela's transition, asserting the country's sovereignty remains intact.
