
Security forces resumed a search operation in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir, on Thursday to track terrorists hiding in a forest area. A gunfight broke out Wednesday evening after forces launched a search based on intelligence about two to three terrorists. One security personnel sustained a minor leg injury during the exchange of fire. The operation, involving the J-K Police's SOG and CRPF, is ongoing with additional forces and aerial surveillance deployed to locate the militants in the dense terrain.
