
West Bengal Governor C.V. Ananda Bose criticized Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for intervening in an Enforcement Directorate (ED) raid at the IPAC office and a director's residence. Banerjee alleged the ED was acting on behalf of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to steal election data, while the ED accused her of obstructing investigations into a coal scam. The Governor invoked a Sanskrit adage to condemn Banerjee's actions.
