Irish Prime Minister Micheal Martin is set to visit China for five days starting Sunday, marking the first trip by an Irish leader in 14 years. He will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Qiang, and Zhao Leji, and will also visit Shanghai. The visit aims to foster China-EU relations, occurring amidst existing EU-China tensions over tariffs on dairy products and European electric vehicles.
