Supreme Court Justice BV Nagarathna has urged the youth to reject wealth acquired by their parents through corrupt means, describing corruption as a "cancerous growth" fueled by greed. Her remarks came as she delivered a dissenting verdict, deeming Section 17A of the Prevention of Corruption Act unconstitutional. This section requires prior approval to investigate government officials. The case, involving a split verdict on Section 17A's validity, will now be heard by a larger bench.
