CIDCO is accelerating the Kondhane Dam Project to ensure water security for Navi Mumbai and the NAINA region, with completion targeted by 2029. The project aims to meet a projected demand of 1,275 MLD by 2050, driven by rapid urbanization and infrastructure development. CIDCO has acquired 70% of the necessary private land and is expediting rehabilitation efforts for affected people. The dam, located in Raigad district, will utilize Roller Compacted Concrete technology.
