The Karnataka government has removed a survey from its website that indicated 94.08% of voters trust the accuracy of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). The survey, part of the Election Commission's SVEEP program, was reportedly published in August 2025 and later came to light in January. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah stated the report has no bearing on the 'Vote Chori' movement and described it as an administrative evaluation, not a political poll. The opposition BJP reacted to the deletion.
