He is contesting on a BJP ticket. Other wealthy candidates include his sister-in-law, Harshita Narvekar (Rs 63.62 crore), Samadhan Sarvankar (Rs 46.59 crore), and Shraddha Jadhav (Rs 46.34 crore). Narwekar's assets have significantly increased since previous elections, with substantial holdings in agricultural land and bank deposits, alongside liabilities.
