Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy accused former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu of betraying the people by undermining the Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation (RLI) project. Reddy alleged that Naidu's government in 2014-2019 allowed Telangana to expand infrastructure at Srisailam, jeopardizing AP's water share. He claimed Naidu also encouraged legal hurdles against the RLI project, which aims to lift Krishna River water for drought-prone Rayalaseema. Reddy contrasted this with his government's welfare initiatives and criticized the current NDA coalition for corruption and a loan-driven model.
