India has commissioned its first indigenously designed and built pollution control vessel, the Indian Coast Guard Ship (ICGS) Samudra Pratap, in Goa. The 114.5-meter vessel, with over 60% indigenous content, is the largest in the ICG fleet and enhances capabilities in marine pollution control, maritime law enforcement, and search and rescue.
