The United States has captured Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, in what is described as a complex raid involving Delta Force and CIA. President Donald Trump announced the operation, stating they were apprehended and flown out of the country, later appearing in court in New York to plead not guilty to drug trafficking charges. Delcy Rodriguez was sworn in as interim president following their court appearance. The operation is compared to the Abbottabad raid that killed Osama bin Laden.
