Saints and citizens in Datia, Madhya Pradesh, have accused BJP councillors of illegally encroaching on government and ashram land, including areas with ancient Shiva temples. A delegation submitted a memorandum to the Collector, alleging the use of JCB machines for illegal plot creation and destruction of ashram fencing, accompanied by death threats. They demand the liberation of encroached land and legal action. The district administration has accepted the memorandum and promised an investigation.
