Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta distributed scholarships totaling Rs 25.25 crore to 1,709 economically weaker section students on National Youth Day. The funds for academic years 2023-24 and 2024-25 were transferred directly to student accounts. The government also released Rs 19 crore in pending scholarships from a previous tenure. Gupta emphasized youth's role in national development and the government's commitment to education, citing the Antyodaya principle and the Narela Education City project.
