Shivamogga MP B.Y. Raghavendra reviewed progress on various road and railway development projects on January 3. Key projects discussed included the four-laning of NH 206, railway overbridges, and road connections to Tirthahalli and Ranebennur. The MP also suggested constructing skywalks in the city and noted that land acquisition for the Shivamogga-Ranebennur railway line is ongoing, with the state government expected to release ₹45 crore for the project.
