Expelled Congress MLA Rahul Mamkootathil has been arrested by Kerala Police in connection with an alleged rape case, following a fresh complaint. BJP leader K Surendran alleged that senior Congress leaders are involved and called it an 'organized crime,' demanding the MLA's resignation. Reports indicate over 15 complaints from women are pending with the CM's office, and 20 Congress workers have reportedly complained about Mamkootathil to party leadership.
