A Delhi court has ordered charges to be framed against RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, his family members, and others in the alleged land-for-jobs scam. The court found a prima facie case of corruption, cheating, and conspiracy, stating that Yadav allegedly used the railway ministry as a "personal fiefdom" to acquire land parcels in exchange for public employment. Charges have been framed against 41 individuals, while 52 others, including railway officials, were discharged. The case pertains to alleged appointments made during Yadav's tenure as railway minister between 2004 and 2009.
