
Sixty-three Naxalites, including 18 women and 36 individuals with a collective bounty exceeding Rs 1.19 crore, surrendered in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh. Officials stated the cadres were active in various state divisions and bordering Odisha. They cited disillusionment with Maoist ideology and the state's rehabilitation policy as motivations. The surrendered individuals will receive immediate financial assistance and rehabilitation support from the government.
