
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced that a new state industrial policy will be introduced soon, aiming to make the state a strong economic hub. During the Him MSME Fest, 37 MoUs worth Rs 10,000 crore were signed. The government plans to promote green industrialization, renewable energy, AI, and rural industries, alongside replacing petrol/diesel taxis with electric vehicles and promoting the textile industry. Efforts will also focus on resolving Section 118 issues and reducing logistic costs.
